Just as treasures are uncovered from the
earth, so virtue appears from good deeds, and wisdom appears from a pure and
peaceful mind. To walk safely through the maze of human life, one needs the
light of wisdom and the guidance of virtue.

I am discovering I still have a
LOT of growing up to DO. I don’t know why I’ve assumed this would NOT BE so
necessary, yet I am seeing that without making the effort Now, what could BE
ahead on my path mightn’t BE too JOYous.
We have to confront ourselves. Do we like
what we see in the mirror? And, according to our light, according to our
understanding, according to our courage, we will have to say yea or nay - and
rise!

The place I call BEtween a rock
and a hard place is Right Here. In the mornings. When I DO Writing Practise.
When I show up and choose to see clearly, to bring Light to the moments of my
Life. I could easily sleep in and NOT write. I did so for years. And years.
But here’s the thing, I have come
to count on myself to show up, to write, to BE willing to see clearly. To shine
my Light inside myself.
It is quite the adventure.

That's honestly my goal in life--to be the light. Not an easy task, but working at it and paying attention one can keep the light longer and longer at a time and get back to it quicker. Great post! :)
