It is by not always
thinking of yourself, if you can manage it, that you might somehow be happy.
Until you make room in your life for someone as important to you as yourself,
you will always be searching and lost. [Richard Bach]
I don’t know for certain that I have always been how I have
been BEcause I was so important to myself. I suppose it is more correct to call
myself selfish and self-centered rather than IMPORTANT to myself. But semantics aside, I DO know that Life
is different and even better when there is a wider view than just ME ME ME.
What art offers is
space - a certain breathing room for the spirit. [John Updike]
With all the moves and changes I’ve made in my Life, I am
continually amazed that I haven’t BEcome better at Letting Go. I have held onto
things from when I was a very little girl and am only Now, in the past few
years, discovering that Letting Go makes so much more room for what is really
important to me.
A spiritual Life. A simple Life. The Time and Space to
breathe, wonder, and wander. JOY. Lovingkindness toward both Self and companions.
Making room is an art I am discovering requires little more
than saying, gladly, YES!
I love you, Currie

Sweet post! Hey, I'm 62 and there are childhood things I don't think I basically let go of until I was 60! Better late than never, I guess. LOL! ;)
