Currie's Gratitude 13 June 2014

The longer I live, the more I read, the more patiently I think, and the more anxiously I inquire, the less I seem to know...Do justly. Love mercy. Walk humbly. This is enough.   [John Adams, The Letters of John and Abigail Adams]

I’m having one of those AZ Summer Brain Delays today. It was already 80 degrees at 5AM!!! Still, we did our walk and I am just kind of overloaded with ideas. Which is NOT a problem, though NOT exactly a Gratitude…

I BElieve deeply in Enough. It has been the best BElief I ever chose for myself.

That if you could acquire enough, accomplish enough, you’d never want to own or do another thing. That if you could eat or sleep enough, you’d never need more. That if enough people loved you, you’d stop needing love.   [Chuck Palahniuk, Choke]

Always BElieving in Enough is really pretty, the sound of it, but it’s really slippery and my path feels very dark sometimes. I slip over to chastising myself for having any thoughts that are regrets or even should haves.

I am learning more: Just Let Go. Almost as default. So I am all for Enoughness.

Sometimes it just seems that love is not enough, does it?   [Mary Balogh, The Devil's Web]

When you put it that way…

I love you, Currie

One cannot change the past. Even if you want to atone for it--that must be done right now, too. Change starts every time you breathe. :)
