Currie's Gratitude 27 June 2014

It's humbling to start fresh. It takes a lot of courage. But it can be reinvigorating. You just have to put your ego on a shelf & tell it to be quiet.   [Jennifer Ritchie Payette]

Starting fresh is very different, for me, Now, than I had always thought it was. I think BEfore that I must have looked at it with more judgment than kindness. Now I realise that each day is what I have, what was and whatever may BE don’t matter.

So what do we do? Anything. Something. So long as we just don't sit there. If we screw it up, start over. Try something else. If we wait until we've satisfied all the uncertainties, it may be too late.  [Lee Iacocca]

This is a HUGE lightbulb thing. For me, I mean. I’ve spent way too much of Life looking back at what I just messed up or worrying about what is going to happen next. Screwing up and starting over, that’s the Way.

Hard is trying to rebuild yourself, piece by piece, with no instruction book, and no clue as to where all the important bits are supposed to go.   [Nick Hornby, A Long Way Down]

Life did NOT come with the sort of instructions I’ve felt I needed…

That’s what I’ve loved the most!!!

I love you, Currie

LOL! Yup! No instruction booklet. Trial and error, that's for sure. :)
