Currie's Gratitude 29 September 2013

What a wee little part of a person's life are his acts and his words! His real life is led in his head, and is known to none but himself.  [Mark Twain]

I never really saw it this way, did you?! And when I think about it, I see how very true this is. There is so much that goes on inside my own head, known to only my small birdbrain, and yet I often live and BElieve as though this were obvious to the World as a whole.

Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.  [Winston Churchill]

Well this one is pretty much a given. I am daily, and often multiple times each day, aware that just the tiniest tweaking of my attitude CAN indeed bring HUGE changes. Little things…

Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.  [Helen Keller]

I don’t entirely subscribe to DOing so little alone, yet I know how much more CAN BE accomplished when we work together. When we cooperate. When we collaborate. And when we encourage and BElieve in one another. My preparations to move have shown me both sides of this lovely coin.

All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt.  [Charles M. Schulz]

So sweetly true…

I love you, Currie

Oh yes! Most of who we are is hidden away inside of us. And even if you are very open and vocal there still remains a part of you that others can't touch. I think of it as the soul or that private sacred place between you and what is bigger than us. I call it my safe place. Not even being raped and beaten could touch my safe place. It's hard to describe--but I think we all have it, even if we don't think about it. :)
