Currie's Gratitude 22 September 2013

I thank you God for this most amazing day,

Such a BEautimous way to BEgin a day, Yes?! I love the word YES!! Saying it. Hearing it, too, though I especially love saying it. While I am often reminding myself that NO is a complete sentence, YES is complete JOY. At least I find it to BE.

When you are discontent, you always want more, more, more. Your desire can never be satisfied. But when you practice contentment, you can say to yourself, 'Oh yes - I already have everything that I really need.'  [Dalai Lama] 

So sad, yet so true. Discontentment was the reason. Now I get it. In my discontent I did indeed BElieve wholeheartedly that if only I had MORE and MORE and yes, even MORE, THEN I could BE happy, satisfied, complete.

Though Now I know that I’ve always had EVERYthing, EVERY. SINGLE. THING. required for my happiness. And especially Now I am able to say: Yes, I have all I need!! Beautimousness!!
