Currie's Gratitude 16 September 2013

I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something; and because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do something that I can do. [Helen Keller]

I’m noticing I’ve had my internal telescope turned round. That I’ve been focusing far more on my canNOTs than my CANs. I’m “earning” a PhD of sorts in CAN. I no longer BEgin from canNOT. Such freedom!!

While I don’t set “S.M.A.R.T.” goals anymore, I DO have One “Brilliant” Goal which is this:

DO What ONLY I CAN DO

BEcause, you see, that is WHY I am here on Earth in this Currie-costume. No one else has quite the same mix of this-and-that.

You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.'  [Eleanor Roosevelt]

As I’ve been readying myself for my move, I have been noticing a LOT of things I simply did/could NOT see BEfore. Peculiarities of Currie, I call them… These are teaching me a great deal about my CANs.

Can you imagine what I would do if I could do all I can? [Sun Tzu]

I love you, Currie
