Dad, how do soldiers killing each other solve the
world's problems? [Bill
Watterson, Calvin and
Hobbes: Sunday Pages 1985-1995]
MayBE that is a grim opening. For me, it’s clearing the
Path. Things are in one of those BIG CHANGE moods, and I find myself having to
work 3 times as hard to DO half what I want to DO.
But I wonder, often, how it is that with all the brilliant
people who have lived and moved on this Planet of ours, we’ve just never seemed
to SEE the most glaring and obvious points of contradiction.
Before you can live a part of you has to die. You have
to let go of what could have been, how you should have acted and what you wish
you would have said differently. You have to accept that you can’t change the
past experiences, opinions of others at that moment in time or outcomes from
their choices or yours. When you finally recognize that truth then you will
understand the true meaning of forgiveness of yourself and others. From this
point you will finally be free. [Shannon
L. Alder]
Somedays more than others, I struggle with what I can Let
Go, or work out another way of DOing. It’s just that I don’t want to waste the
minutes, NOT one.
I love you, Currie

Yes! Yes! Why can't we have put all that intelligence and effort into finding ways to get along and how to take care of us all with healthy foods and kindness? Maybe surviving this planet and not turning to the dark side is meant to be difficult...like a badge of honor...like soul graduate school--LOL! Because it is the place where there is a huge array of choices laid before you every single day. We get so busy observing and judging everyone else's choices and justifying our own that we get pulled away from the pure miracle of being here. :)
